Le 16 mars 2023, la CNIL a prononcé une sanction de 125 000 euros à l’encontre de la société CITYSCOOT pour avoir notamment porté une atteinte disproportionnée à la vie privée de ses clients en les géolocalisant de manière quasi permanente.

L’identité numérique comporte de nombreux enjeux, notamment pour la vie privée des personnes. Dans son premier « dossier thématique », un nouveau format de publication destiné à faire le point sur un sujet d’actualité, la CNIL présente les grands principes clés et ses positions en la matière.
Digital identity presents many challenges, especially in regards to individual privacy. In its first « thematic dossier », a new publication format to address a current issue, the CNIL presents the big key principles and its positions on the matter.
