Après Rennes et Marseille, la CNIL propose deux nouvelles Journées RGPD à Toulouse. La première sera consacrée aux actualités et aux thématiques majeures de la protection des données en collaboration avec Toulouse Métropole. La seconde aura pour thématiques l’intelligence artificielle et l’innovation, en collaboration avec l’Université Toulouse Capitole.
The CNIL is offering two new RGPD days in Toulouse, following Rennes and Marseille. The first day will focus on the current news and major data protection topics in conjunction with Toulouse Métropole. The second day will discuss artificial intelligence and innovation in partnership with Toulouse Capitole University.

Après Rennes et Marseille, la CNIL sera à Toulouse du 11 au 13 octobre. Les équipes iront à la rencontre des jeunes, de leurs parents, enseignants et éducateurs, mais également des seniors pour une série d’évènements consacrés à la protection des données. En parallèle, les professionnels pourront participer à une journée dédiée aux actualités dans ce domaine suivie d’une seconde journée autour de l’intelligence artificielle et de l’innovation.
The CNIL will be visiting Toulouse from the 11th to the 13th of October after Rennes and Marseille. Their teams will meet with young people, their parents, teachers and educators, as well as seniors to host a series of events focused on data protection. Professionals will have the opportunity to attend a day dedicated to news and developments in this field, followed by a second day of activities around artificial intelligence and innovation.

The U.S. Federal Communication Commission issued a notice of proposed rulemaking 28 Sept. to reassert its authority over broadband internet and regulate for « protection of consumersâ privacy and data security interests. » The notice would allow the FCC to classify the internet as a telecommunications service under Title II of the Communications Act. The proposed rulemaking package would also restore privacy and data security enforcement powers previously bestowed upon the FCC in the Telecommunications Act of 1996.
